The Directory Committee is a standing committee, concerned with all aspects of production and promotion of the NOTIS Directory of Translators and Interpreters. If you have any questions regarding the directory, please contact Caitilin Walsh at webmistress@notisnet.org.
The Editorial Review committee is a standing committee, reviewing all materials published by NOTIS. For more information concerning the activities of this committee, or if you wish to volunteer, please contact NOTIS at info@NOTISnet.org.

The Medical Interpreting SIG is dedicated to promoting professionalism and excellence in interpretive services to enhance the provision of health and social services to ethnic communities. The group sponsors regular forums to further its goals.

The Membership Committee is a standing committee, concerned with all aspects of membership in NOTIS, including membership rights and privileges as well as attracting new members and database maintenance. The Nominating Committee is charged with finding and evaluating potential board members. For more information concerning the activities of this committee, please contact Kathryn German or Jonas Nicotra.
NOTIS and its sister organization WITS jointly publish a quarterly newsletter with articles, events and other information of interest to translators and interpreters. Members receive the newsletter free with their membership. Non-members may subscribe for $12.00 a year. Contact the Newsletter Editor Kathryn German at translationskg@comcast.net for further information on submissions and advertising.
The Outreach Committee serves to pool resources for the education of potential translation services users. The committee also maintains a list of presenters who can speak at conferences or provide in-house lectures. The Publications Committee is responsible for all NOTIS publications. Currently, these publications include The Northwest Linguist, The NOTIS White Papers and any NOTIS fliers, promotional brochures and other items intended for public consumption.
