Interpreting in Emergency Services:
Challenges for Face-to-Face and Telephonic Interpreters

This workshop will address the specific knowledge and skills that interpreters need to work effectively in the emergency room trauma bay, in situations when a patient has “coded” (needs to be resuscitated), on 9-1-1 calls, poison control calls and crisis line calls.
