"Taking Action: Making Inclusion a Reality" is the theme for the annual Summit of the Washington Coalition for Language Access, happening October 13-14 at the Wenatchee Convention Center.  

Attention court and medical interpreters! The WASCLA Summit planning committee heard your feedback and this year, for the first time, we have designed a dedicated interpreter skill-development track at the Summit specifically to provide relevant trainings and networking time for our interpreter members. This year, you can earn the following by attending:

  • Washington court interpreter credits: Up to 8.75, including 1.5 ethics credits for attending the full Summit
  • CCHI: 5.25 CE credit hours for Friday's events and 6.25 for events on Saturday
  • DSHS: up to 5 credits for the entire Summit (2.5 credits per day) including 1 credit is for ethics training.

  • Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC): 8.75 including 1.5 ethics
  • Teachers: 2.25 clock hours
  • Washington State Bar Association, 13.5 credits: 12 MCLE Credits and 1.5 Ethics Credits,
