NOTIS’s Community Interpreters Division (CID) presents:

Note Taking for Interpreters
Presented by Yuliya Speroff

Workshop Overview
Note-taking is an essential skill for any interpreter – whether you’re interpreting at a medical appointment, a deposition, or a conference. In this 3-hour interactive webshop, interpreters will be introduced to the fundamentals of note-taking and discuss how note-taking aids in accuracy and helps interpreters deal with various interpreting challenges – from long speech segments to delicate discussions. During the webshop, interpreters will engage in multiple practice exercises to apply newly acquired knowledge and refine note-taking skills.
