Court Interpreter Forum

A Court Interpreter Forum co-hosted by the Washington State Supreme Court Interpreter Commission and WASCLA will be held on October 19, 2018, at the WASCLA Summit site, the Lacey Community Center, in Lacey, Washington, from 6-8 p.m. 

Commission members want to hear directly from interpreters working in the courts, and from everyone interested in language access in the courts, about topics including: obstacles to quality language access services in court settings; challenges faced by court interpreters; skills for interpreting in the courts; and ways the Interpreter Commission can improve language access. Refreshments will be served. 2 CE credits have been approved for court interpreters who attend the Forum. 

There is no charge to attend the forum, but  registration is required. Please send your RSVP to: Court Interpreter Commission Forum 2018.
