NOTIS Community Interpreting Division presents

Interpreting in Critical Care

When a patient’s life is in danger, interpreting encounters can become stressful, intimidating, and emotional. During this four-hour class, you will reinforce your knowledge of life-threatening conditions, their treatments, and end-of-life care to better navigate these encounters with ease and confidence. The class will include role-playing and interpreting practice with colleagues.

About the instructors:

She also trained in public health at the Royal Tropical Institute in The Netherlands, internal medicine at Boston Tufts University, and nephrology at the University of Florida.  Maria is passionate about continuing medical education and speaks Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, dancing, and spending time with her family and dogs.
