9th Annual CTA Conference

Please join us on April 26-28, 2019 at the scenic NCAR Mesa Lab in Boulder, Colorado for the 9th Annual CTA Conference, an event packed with learning and networking opportunities for translators, interpreters, and language service providers.

This year’s conference features a wide variety of breakout sessions and workshops for both newcomers to the profession and seasoned professionals, from video game translation and concordance tools to ethics, quality management and interpretation assignments in schools.

Key conference highlights include:

  • ATA Certification Exam sitting on Friday (register through the ATA website)
  • 13 breakout sessions and workshops for translators and interpreters on Saturday
  • 3-hour Business Start-up Essentials Workshop with attorney Theresa Pickner
  • All-day SDL Trados Studio tool support station with Studio expert Andrew Martin on Saturday
  • SDL Trados Studio Training on Sunday
  • Simultaneous Interpretation Skills & Voice Training with Cyril Flerov on Sunday

The 9th Annual CTA Conference has been approved for 10 ATA CE Points, 11 CCHI CE hours (6 are performance-based), 16 CEO hours by the Colorado Judicial Branch and the New Mexico Center for Language Access, and IMIA/NBCMI credits (pending).
