VICARIOUS TRAUMA DECOMPRESSION SESSION

Cancelled

We had another fruitful decompression session, and more requests to keep offering them.  So, we will continue to offer these sessions at this fantastically affordable price, twice a month.

Interpreters who have interpreted during intense trials in court or critical medical procedures in a hospital are aware of the reality of vicarious trauma. In the aftermath of these experiences, self-care is extremely beneficial. Please come and learn ways to make the experience of secondary trauma more manageable through group support.

Vicarious Trauma Decompression Session on

Wednesday, December 18, from 7:30PM-8:30PM

at Bothell Natural Health

10614 Beardslee Blvd. Suite C in Bothell

(next door to the Bothell Post Office)

THERE WILL BE NO CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS OFFERED FOR THESE SESSIONS.

This is a tremendous opportunity to visit with a professional counselor, Eileen Bowen, MA, LMHC, GMHS. She is offering a special price of $20.00 per person for each one-hour session. Each session is capped at ten participants, and once you have registered, the fee is non-refundableEileen and the group will support the people within the group wherever they find themselves in their own process. This group support could include therapeutic interventions, which are a form of counseling psychology. However, the interventions are for the benefit of the group as a whole, and not for just one individual. All information shared during the registration process and the session will remain confidential.

NOTIS is organizing this event to facilitate access for our members to a service that could be beneficial to them. All discussions, advice, and subject matter discussed is strictly between Eileen Bowen and session attendees, and should not be interpreted as opinions, advice or professional counseling from NOTIS as an organization.
