What’s it about?
Our April AI Jam Session will be a conversation with Yuliya Speroff, Medical Interpreter Supervisor at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and a nationally recognized voice in interpreter training and professional development. Yuliya serves on the boards of NCIHC and CHIA and has been recognized as both Interpreter of the Year (CHIA, 2021) and Trainer of the Year (AALB, 2024). If you have been holding back on learning to use AI because you first want to understand what these new technologies mean for our industry, that's exactly what this session is designed to address. Yuliya is a strong voice for interpreter empowerment, and she and I will talk honestly about the uncertainty and concern many of us are feeling. If you've been watching from the sidelines, this is a good session to attend.
